Revelation, "Victory In Christ"
FOREWORD
These outlines on the book of Revelation were originally prepared for use
in the country of Australia. Robert F. Turner and I made a three-month trip
"Down Under" in 1977, and we arranged our special studies so they could be
completed within ten sessions. At the request of many friends who sought a
copy, I am reproducing this material and also adding study questions which I
have used to teach this book in Bible classes.
I hold no claim to being a "scholar" nor an "authority" on the book of
Revelation. What I know I learned from others. Although my sources of in-
formation are varied, I treasure in highest esteem brother Homer Halley who
first quickened my interest in this grand book while I sat as his student at
Florida College in 1958. On many occasions since, I have heard him lecture on
the book of Revelation, and he has sharpened my interest and increased my
understanding. I am indebted to him for thrilling my heart by his description
and explanation of the great conflict out of which the Christ comes victorious
as LORD OF LORDS and KING OF KINGS.
I offer this booklet with the prayer that the student who uses it will glean
from Revelation the courage to persevere in serving Christ at all cost, and
that each will experience the highest joy as he considers the reward awaiting
the faithful.
